Polyurethane coating: After the fabric is coloured, one side is coated with a layer of polyurethane. Coating is done by applying one layer of transparent paste (e.g. IMPRANIL C, IMPRANIL TH and oxide ethyl) followed by two layers of the same paste of the necessary colour and extra substances. Coating has to be indifferent/ resistant to diesel oil and white spirit.

Both sides to be coated with the required amount of resin, which must not exceed 12% of the total weight of the product.

Instead of resin, it is possible to use the method of auto-welding. In this case, polyester threads of 4-14 denier can be used, while attention is needed so that the padding shows best possible cohesion.

PRODUCTION:

1. For diagram and dimensions of the sleeping bags check attached appendixes A-E.
2. The front and back sheets of the sleeping bag should be made of Nylon 1x1 sewed together with padding. Suture with stitches every apprx. 9cms. Each sleeping bag sheet to have two (2) layers of padding inside.
3. The nylon coated with polyurethane (appendix C, diagram 1) is stitched to the back sheet of the sleeping bag.
4. The two fronts and one rear sheet of the sleeping bag are put together by folding their edges and double stitching them. The length of the folding needs to be around 1cm and the distance between the stitches around 0.5cm (see appendix A)
5. At the stitching points of the front and rear sheets of the sleeping bag, 2cms off the top and bottom edges, a 16mm tape/ webbing has to be added. The webbing is folded and stitched in such a way that the loose ends are approximately 6cms. In total 4 pieces of this tape are stitched, two on each side.
6. On top of the folding you place a 30mm tape. On the front side of the sleeping bag and the two sheets, we need to put a 50mm tape with a zip on it. The top side of the zip has to have a 5cm long joining webbing.

1. The hood and external cover/cap must be sewed on the top part of the sleeping bag (see appendix C, diagrams 2 and file D, diagram 3). In the inside of the hood an extra peace of padding is to be added sewed with nylon fabric as shown in files D (diagram 2) and E
2. On the external cover of the sleeping bag a 20mm tape is to be sewed as on appendix D (diagram 3)
3. In the inside of the front sheets of the sleeping bag, a 30mm ribbon is to be sewed on which the female part of the press fastener will be placed. There are to be five (5) press fasteners on each sheet with a space of around 35cms between them for Model 1 and 42cms for Model 2.
4. On the inside of one of the front sheets you should put the instructions label (size 18x8cms- annex E)
5. Lining to be made of nylon 1x1 (diagram and dimensions as seen on appendix B)

Packaging:

Zip, and fold the hood into the main body of the sleeping bag.

Fasten the press fasteners at the sides of the sleeping bag and roll the sleeping bag into a cylinder staring from low end. Place into external cover bag and fasten using safety tapes found on the outside of the cover.

On the front side of the sleeping bag cover (appendix D) you have to place a label indicating model, production year and height.

Each sleeping bag is placed into a clear nylon bag.
